Hi my name is Ffion Denman, I'm 17 years old and live in Cardiff. I am currently studying my A-Levels in English, History and Art and after finishing at sixth form I am set to begin a whole new adventure 5,072 miles away from home, a whole new adventure in Honduras!

My brother was luckily selected by Project Trust to go to South Africa last summer and I was totally inspired to go on a selection course on the Isle of Coll with Project Trust when the time came for me. My selection week was based on the beautiful Isle of Coll with some amazing people from the 30th of May to the 5th of June. After teaching lessons, preparing presentations, digging lazy beds and many failed attempts of ceilidh dancing, here I am a month after my selection having received a letter confirming my place in Honduras.

So in the summer or 2017 I will be off to Central America to teach English in local Honduran schools. For me to have this opportunity I firstly have to raise £6200, I have already started to raise some of the money but I am far from my final target.

I have set up this blog to share my fundraising experience with you and keep you updated with my progress. I will be writing about different charity events I will be holding; International food nights, Bag packing, Car-boot sales, Auctions, Wine tastings and cocktail evenings, and - after many cake sales! - I will finally be able to share my Honduras experience with you through blog posts and photos!

Muchas Gracias!!

Ffion
